Nathaniel Cobbett
Nathaniel "Nat" Cobbett is an accomplished attorney with a diverse background in criminal defense, personal injury, class action, and civil rights law. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016, he spent a year clerking at a boutique criminal defense firm in Minnesota. In 2017, Mr. Cobbett moved to Chicago and earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2020.
During law school, he distinguished himself by competing for two years in Loyola's nationally ranked Trial Fellowship program, an experience that laid the foundation for his career in litigation. Today, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola, where he coaches the next generation of trial lawyers. Mr. Cobbett began his legal career at the Law Offices of the Cook County Public Defender, where he represented clients in high-stakes criminal cases. He then transitioned to Plaintiff’s personal injury, class action, and civil rights law, where he has built a reputation for successfully litigating, settling, arbitrating, and trying complex cases before juries in Cook County and beyond. Licensed to practice law in Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois, Mr. Cobbett is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
