"In February 2003, we reached a $12,000,000 settlement with the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago on behalf of a child who now suffers from cerebral palsy, quadriplegia, and partial blindness because of delayed delivery. Emilio Machado argued that the delivering doctor ignored signs of fetal distress and breached the standard of care by not taking the action necessary to prevent injury."

Why Rubin & Machado Stand Apart From the Rest
Major Victories
Our team has won many multi-million dollar claims. Some of these claims, like a $12 million medical malpractice settlement we obtained for a severe birth injury, have even hit eight figures. Our other medical malpractice recoveries include $6.5 million for the family of an infant who suffered a brain injury and $5.35 million for a client whose physician failed to diagnose her lupus. Our personal injury claim victories include $3.5 million in an aviation-related death and $483k for a construction worker injured on the job due to negligence.
Creatively Constructed Settlements
The aforementioned victories encompass both trial verdicts and pre-trial settlements. Our Chicago personal injury attorneys have repeatedly proven that we can win in court if necessary, or achieve major settlements beforehand. We are adept in arbitration, mediation, and private resolution settings. We strive to make sure our clients are protected beyond simply winning their cases. Our team is known for creatively structuring settlements that pay our clients over many years.
Contingency Representation
We deeply understand the major financial burdens that truck accidents, medical malpractice, and other tragedies place on undeserving victims. If you are suffering from skyrocketing medical bills, physical pain, and inability to work, the last thing you need is costly attorney's fees. We provide free, no-obligation consultations and work on a contingency basis. Our contingency arrangement means you never have to pay us a cent unless our personal injury lawyers win your case.
