We will never forget
We remember those that were taken too soon on that day;
We remember that justice and liberty thrive in our beloved nation.
We remember that our Constitution demands that we live under the principles of equality and justice for all.
We remember that while our civil and criminal systems of justice may not be perfect, we are grateful for the principles by which they stand.
We remember those in the armed services who protect our country's freedom.
We remember our gratitude for emergency personnel and medical workers.
We remember our fellow Americans and beam with pride knowing that we stand united for the principles of democracy.
We remember that love outweighs fear.
On this day, we intend to remember how kindly and respectfully Americans treated each other in the days following the September 11th terrorist attacks. We remember then as we do now that at our core, we are all here to look after each other. Legal ethics requires this as well. While my work as a personal injury attorney is highly adversarial and my goal is to secure the greatest amount of settlement money or jury trial verdict that I can, I am aware that I am working within a system with a larger goal: justice. In America, we are incredibly fortunate to have this system and we should never take it for granted. The September 11th anniversary reminds me of this. It is a beautiful system of justice and I am proud to be a part of it.
